Corpus Christi

"...Shadows flee that truth may stay,
Oldness to the new gives way,
And night's darkness to the light...

Words a nature's course derange,
That in Flesh the bread may change
And the wine in Christ's own Blood.

Does it pass thy comprehending?
Faith, the law of light transcending
Leaps to things not understood.

Here beneath these signs are hidden
Priceless things, to sense forbidden;
Signs, not things are all we see...

And whoev'r of Him partakes,
Severs not, nor rends, nor breaks:
All entire, their Lord receive..."

This Sunday Past....

"May the reception of this sacrament, O Lord our God, and the confession of the holy and eternal Trinity and of its undivided unity, profit us to the salvation of body and soul. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, who livest and reignest with Thee in the unity of the Holy Ghost, one God, world without end. Amen"

Glorious Days.....

.........going by like a flash!
(Just when I think life can't possibly get any busier, it does!)
But the weather has been simply glorious!
And we are on our last week of school!

Hurray!

I am looking forward to summer break every bit as much as the children!;)

Noble Deeds and Thoughts...

"Whene'er a noble deed is wrought,
Whene'er is spoken a noble thought,
Our hearts, in glad surprise,
To higher levels rise."

On Great Men....

"There is a great man who makes every man feel small.
But the real great man is the man who makes every man feel great."

A Pretty, Messy Sink

It is pretty messy.....
But it can be pretty too.
When I have it decorated with the lovely bouquets the children keep bringing in to me! :)
