With an airy layer of seven minute frosting swirled on top, and strawberry jam layered between............... it really doesn't get much better than this.

We live with our eight children in an old farmhouse ( the original part of which was built around 1858) way out in the country. I am thirty-seven years old and there are few things I enjoy more than snuggling up on the couch with my little ones, a good book, and a nice hot cup of tea (~or coffee;)!
