Today, for Our Lady's birthday, we made a cake. Amazing what sugar pearls and a few fresh flowers will do! Happy feast day!

We live with our eight children in an old farmhouse ( the original part of which was built around 1858) way out in the country. I am thirty-seven years old and there are few things I enjoy more than snuggling up on the couch with my little ones, a good book, and a nice hot cup of tea (~or coffee;)!
