St. Raphael


This morning I separated ten eggwhites from their respective yolks. The plan is to have an angel food cake all baked up by dinner time. (We'll see if I actually get it done. It has been a crazy day...)What I especially love about making a homemade angel food cake is that there are exactly enough leftover egg yolks for a double batch of homemade custard. Homemade chocolate custard. I can't think of a lovelier way to use up leftovers, can you? ;)
